Android Nougat & Oreo –

Marshmallow has many skins like app drawer and unlocking of the phone with biometric, fingerprint authentication. Also included is USB type C support. Android 7.0 Nougat was launched on 22nd August 2016.

Android 8.0 Oreo was introduced on August 21, 2017. For smartphones with bigger screens it has special features like multi-tasking. It also included split screens and quick switching between apps. Android Pie & Android 10 –

Android 9.0 Pie was launched on 6th August 2018. It came in with plenty of new features and improvements. A new home button is also added to this version. It also brings recently used apps when you swipe upwards. The battery life is also enhanced. The last version of Android, which was launched on 3rd September 2019, was Android 10.

It had flexible displays and also comprised of a system-wide dark mode. Plus, a newly introduced navigation control. There is a feature of smart reply for all the messaging apps. And a sharing menu which is so efficacious and there is much more.
